Obtala Resources Plc listed on the AIM stock exchange in April 2008 under the ticker OBT. Obtala is focused on the exploration and development of diverse commodity assets in East Africa.

Obtala is led by an experienced team with backgrounds in creation, growth and management of business and resource projects in emerging market, allied with specific commodity expertise.

Obtala applies this experience to making corporate investments and developing its asset base through to the development of resource estimates and, where appropriate, commence production of the economically feasible assets.

The Group is currently evaluating gold, nickel, uranium, iron ore, PGE's and gemstone opportunities in Tanzania, East Africa.

Objective and Strategy

Our objective is to realise value for our shareholders through transactions and partnerships. The Directors will utilise both internal and external expertise to develop the mineral assets and investigate potential opportunities while maintaining a disciplined asset and cost base.

Our strategy is to undertake exploration in order to increase the value of the assets through the development of resource estimates and, where appropriate, commence production of the economically feasible assets. The Group will focus on working with local partners who will be actively engaged in the process of exploration and will work to identify additional opportunities.
