About Us
Obtala Limited was incorporated in the UK on 1 August 2007 and subsequently listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM market) in April 2008, under the ticker OBT. The initial focus was on exploring gold, nickel, uranium, iron ore, copper and gemstone opportunities in Tanzania, East Africa. The company has since developed a portfolio of investments in line with the strategy of creating shareholder value through strategic investments in addition to in-house exploration.
In July 2010, Obtala Resources Limited was re-registered in Guernsey pursuant to a scheme of arrangement and the new holding company was admitted to AIM on 17 September 2010.
